eCarsTrade Delivery Service

eCarsTrade can organize the delivery of your purchased cars directly to you if your parking lot is reachable by a car transport truck.

The delivery price is custom and depends on your location in the EU.

After you win a car, the option to request delivery will appear in:

  1. The email with your proforma invoice
  2. My Vehicles section of your Personal page

At the moment, we can organize delivery to these European countries:

*The prices apply to the transport of one standard car. Prices for large SUVs, electric cars, and vans are available upon request. For half or full loads, contact us for discounts and better rates.

Even if you don’t see your country on the list, you can still get in touch with us, and we’ll see what we can do for you!

Please note that the eCarsTrade Delivery Service is not available for non-EU countries.

EX-A export declaration

The EX-A export declaration is crucial for our non-EU clients to receive their VAT refund.

The preparation of the EX-A document costs €50, which is automatically included and clearly indicated in your proforma invoice.

How to request the EX-A export declaration?

Request the EX-A export declaration at least 3 working days before vehicle pick-up through your Personal page.

Locating your MRN number

The Movement Reference Number (MRN) is a crucial identifier on your EX-A document. Here's how it looks:

Tracking your export status

To check your car's export status, visit the European Commission's Export MRN Follow-up and enter your MRN number.

Requesting your VAT refund

You are only able to claim the VAT refund after:

  1. The purchased vehicle has crossed the EU border

  2. The EX-A document has been officially registered by the EU customs officials

After confirming these two conditions, send an email to [email protected] with all exportation details and your preferred bank account for the VAT refund.

For any questions about the EX-A document or VAT refund process, please contact our customer support team.

Technical control

Technical control is an essential step for certain vehicle collections and transit arrangements.

The cost of the Belgian technical control is €300-€450, depending on vehicle location.

When is technical control not possible?

Not all vehicles are eligible for technical control.

Here are some examples of vehicles that cannot pass technical control:

  1. Cars with broken rear-view mirrors
  2. Cars with damaged windows and/or windshield
  3. Cars without registration papers

Always carefully check the description and all photos to determine if the vehicle would be able to pass technical control.

When is technical control mandatory?

  1. For self-pickup with transit license plates: This applies to all non-Belgian vehicles and Belgian vehicles with an expired technical control.

  2. For car registration in certain countries: For example, Greece requires valid technical control from the country of export based on the first registration date.

When is technical control not necessary?

Passing the Belgian technical control is typically not necessary (exceptions may apply) if you’re using our eCarsTrade Delivery Service or an official truck transport company.

However, always double-check the import requirements of your country!

How to request technical control?

Get in touch with your Account manager to request the technical control. Your Account manager will determine if it’s needed and let you know the next steps.
